About Me
Hi, I’m Rachel.
I’m a stay-at-home mom and Army wife, with emphasis on the stay-at-home.
I was a school counselor before my husband went active duty in the Army, then I was a substitute teacher before having our first child. I loved school counseling and substitute teaching, but teaching my own kids is pretty great too. Now I get to homeschool my six- and four-year-old boys while my one-year-old steals the remote controls and takes a bite out of every apple in the fruit basket.
I love doing research, teaching, writing, travelling, and public speaking. My favorite topics are: child education, momming, minimalism, reducing waste, relationship education, birth education, and discipleship.
I’m currently working through a rough patch with God.
This blog is for my own mental health and also because I believe God can speak through anyone if they’re willing.
I pray that it is a blessing to all who find it.
