Cry Me A River
This radio show I love, The Bobby Bones Show (also the only radio show I can stand to listen to), recently added a new segment, called “Cry Me A River”, where listeners call in to complain about something trivial.
Well, here’s my “Cry Me A River”:
We FINALLY were able to move into our house, and got some loaner furniture from housing. But we weren’t able to get basic kitchen supplies from ACS because they keep running out, and we still don’t have our car, so we’re stranded, and the loaner bed is hard as a rock, and we won’t be getting our household goods shipment for another FIVE WEEKS.
And did I mention that it’s been 90+ degrees with 80+ humidity because I. am. DYING. here.
Psalm 61:1-2:
Hear my cry, God;
Listen to my prayer.
From the end of the earth,
with fainting heart, I call out to you.
Set me down on a rock far above where I am now.
On the bright side, I LOVE our house. I like it almost more than any house we’ve ever lived in. I can’t wait to get our furniture, so that for the first time in 100 days, we can have a home again.
