Obey

Obey.

What has God already asked you to do that you haven’t done?

For me, it has been this blog. I was so concerned with “doing it right” that I’ve failed to just obey and let God take care of the rest.

It has taken me wayyy to long to obey. Don’t be like me.

The thing about obedience to God is IT IS FOR OUR GOOD.

It’s like when I’m trying to get my (almost) three year old to try something that is delicious and I know he is going to like and it’s like pulling teeth just to get him to try it!

I love writing. But I got so caught up in researching all the things you *have* to do to start a blog and got bogged down in all of the technical stuff and didn’t do anything instead of just obeying.

So what is it that God has already told you to do, and when are you going to stop giving excuses and just do it?

Who among you fears Adonai?

Who obeys what his servant says?

Even when he walks in the dark, without any light,

He will trust in Adonai’s reputation and rely on his God.
