There is No One Who Saves Like Our God

I’m not perfect. My life isn’t perfect. My marriage isn’t perfect. My husband is not perfect. Part of the reason it took me so long to actually start this blog is because I didn’t want people to know the imperfect parts of my life. But God uses our flaws to demonstrate his grace.
And what I’ve come to see is that it is through the cracks, the flaws, the ugly parts of my life that I have the most opportunity to cling to His goodness and to throw my life at His feet, knowing that He is my only Hope.
If my life was any more perfect I might think I had a chance of saving it on my own.
But there are so many things, so many times where I am totally helpless, and all options seem inadequate to the need, and all I know is:
There is nothing I can do.
BUT,
God is the author of my reality,
and so I will look to Him to rescue me
and I will do what He tells me to do,
because
no one saves like our God.
And sometimes He reveals where I have been wrong and changes MY heart, sometimes He gives me glimpses of the future that I need to cling to in order to persevere, sometimes He comforts me and holds me like a child, and sometimes He changes my situation just. like. that.
No matter what your situation looks like right now, just know:
There is no one who saves like our God.
